Application Fee waiver for Entry Clearance

You can request a fee waiver if you are applying for entry clearance based on family life or private life and if you meet the eligibility criteria:
 

• As a partner or child of a member of HM Forces.
• As a partner or child of a member of HM Forces (the sponsor) where the sponsor:
  • Is a foreign or Commonwealth member of HM Forces.
  • Has completed at least 4 years of service in HM Forces at the time of application.
• Under Appendix FM (family members) where the sponsor is present and settled in the UK.
• Where the sponsor has refugee or humanitarian protection status in the UK.

If you are granted a fee waiver, you must apply for entry clearance for one of the above reasons.
 

If you are applying with family members, you must include the same individuals in your fee waiver request as in your application for permission to stay. For example, this could include your partner or any dependent children. 

You can request a fee waiver on behalf of one or more family members applying with you, even if youdo not need a fee waiver for your own application. This may be appropriate if you are able to cover some, but not all, of the application fees.
